About The Bevvy Bish
I’m Jen. I Built a Mobile Bar Business to $520K, Then Sold It.
I’m a 20+ year entrepreneur who has spent my career building, running and selling businesses. Now I teach people how to start and run their own mobile bartending business, starting with the business side nobody talks about.
How It Started
My daughter, a bartender with more than 10 years of experience, wanted a business of her own. So we built a mobile bar company together in Southwest Florida, where events happen year-round.
She knew the bar. I built the business: the LLC, licensing, insurance, contracts, packages, pricing, overhead, website and every back-end system that kept it running.
We didn’t start with a fancy trailer. We started with a simple folding table setup and upgraded the look on a budget. After three or four months, we began building our own custom bars and back bars, but only once the business could pay for them.

What We Built
- Year one: $380K in booked events
- Year two: $520K in booked events, with 5 bartenders and 2 barbacks
- How we grew: reinvested profits and community networking. We built our corporate client list through BNI, the chamber of commerce and local associations.
- The exit: after 26 months, we sold the company to a larger event business expanding into our area.
Those are our numbers, not a promise of yours. Every market is different. What I can give you is the exact business side of how we did it.
Why I Created The Bevvy Bish
Building a successful business isn’t about luck. It’s about having the right systems, making informed decisions and staying consistent.
I watched too many talented bartenders start with a cute bar, a logo and an Instagram page, then decide the business “doesn’t work” because nobody showed them pricing, contracts or how to turn an inquiry into a booked event. That’s the part I teach.

What I Want Every New Mobile Bar Owner to Know
- You may not need a liquor license. Many states allow “dry hire,” where the client supplies the alcohol and you provide the service. Laws vary, so always check yours.
- You don’t need an expensive bar trailer. You can start with a folding table and upgrade once the business pays for it.
- Pricing and booking are where most people fail. Get those right and the rest gets a lot easier.
- Fear and overthinking stop more people than money does. You don’t need to feel fearless. You need to be prepared.
